1. Who we are
L2 Aetherion (“we”, “us”) is an independent, fan-made Lineage II private server and website operated by [Owner legal name, address and registration details - to be completed before launch]. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NCSOFT Corporation. “Lineage” and “Lineage II” are trademarks of NCSOFT Corporation.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, downloading the client or launcher, or using the website or game server, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Notice, the Refund Policy and the Community Rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Accounts
- Accounts are created only through this website, and a verified email address is mandatory. The game account is created after you confirm your email.
- You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secret and be responsible for activity under your accounts. We never ask for your password.
- One person may hold up to five game accounts. Account names that impersonate staff or contain offensive language are removed.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or the Community Rules.
4. The service is provided “as is”
The server is a non-commercial hobby project. Characters, items and in-game currency have no monetary value and remain the property of the service. We do not guarantee uptime, rates, features or the continuation of the service. Server rules and settings can change for balance or technical reasons.
5. Acceptable use
No cheating, botting, exploiting bugs, unauthorised third-party software, account sharing for gain, scamming, harassment, hate speech, attacks on our infrastructure, or real-money trading of in-game assets. Details are in the Community Rules.
6. Donations
Donations support the running costs of the project. They never sell combat equipment, stat boosts or direct PvP power. Offerings are limited to cosmetic items and optional progression-convenience services, each labelled clearly in the shop. Donations are governed by the Refund Policy. Delivery depends on a working game server and a valid target account/character.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data, items or progress, or for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the website. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Contact: use the website contact form.
